Recent student accomplishments include:
1. Alberque (MM Viola), Winner of the WVU Young Artist's Competition with Walton Concerto -performance with WVU Symphony Orchestra upcoming in March
2. Private prep students win seats in the WV All State Orchestra Festival 2009 and 2010
3. Private prep student Deal winner of the WV MTNA high school strings competition and competitor at the regional MTNA competition in Ithaca, NY, January 2010.
4. WVU Students winners of Assistantships and Scholarships to Brevard Music Festival, 2009 (Alberque, Saunders, Lyle, and McDaniel)
